Fashion Spotlight: Bottega Veneta

Luxury Italian Brand Bottega Veneta was established in 1966 while it first started generating high end luxury products. Plus high end catwalk style the brand is well known for its artistry which it give upon its leather products, until now still using their trademark way of leather weave. Even if mostly starting out in leather components Bottega Veneta started making its own ready-to-wear men's clothing in 2006, after a few years it was obtained as a product by the Gucci Group. While in that case the brand has gone from durability to durability branching out into fine jewelry and sunglasses and has reverted to its foundations of distinct style that is not described by its branding.

For S/S 12 the brand decided for an injection of jeans, whether it was changed into a leather fit or in a suit all of its own – jeans was all over this catwalk. Beiges, greys and blues were the mainly prominent shades for the Italian brand. Strong materials combined with tie-dye were too present as were chequered designed looks. Shiny shades give the selection a refreshing cocktail vibe with vivid blues and oranges both being involved. The show as well grabbed on S/S styles such as pastels and safari other than decided for a more simple strategy in the generally innovative Bottega Veneta way.
